IMU drift is cumulative rotation error over time. We selected the BNO085 to minimize drift and provide recalibration gestures (taps) to quickly correct orientation.
If charging directly, LEDs will pulse while charging and stay solid when full. When stacking, ensure the USB-C cable is attached to the lowest tracker. LED states indicate charging status.
Trackers remain in a low-power ready state by design. Hold the bottom-side button for 5 seconds to fully power off; they will automatically power back on when connected to USB power.
Contact support for a replacement — first replacement may be covered. Replacement parts are also available for purchase; design files are open-source if you want to customize.
Confirm tracker assignment in SlimeVR and adjust IK calibration or bone lengths. For SteamVR check Controllers > Manage Trackers to ensure correct limb assignment.
This can be due to tracker mounting or bone proportion calibration. Enable Skating correction and Floor clip in SlimeVR Settings, re-run Automatic Body Proportions, or adjust physical mounting and manual bone lengths.
Try experimental Automatic mounting calibration, verify mounting orientations, or perform a full reset. Small offsets can be compensated by shifting tracker placement and re-running calibration.
Ensure you have upper leg trackers assigned as upper leg and lower leg trackers assigned correctly. Place lower leg trackers just above the ankles, not on the feet.
Use Automatic mounting calibration, try mounting upper leg trackers slightly inward or higher/lower depending on build, and calibrate with legs straight then manually adjust hip width if needed.
